WE GUARANTEE OUR LIVE ALASKA LOBSTERS AND OTHER FRESH SEAFOOD ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY.

ALASKA SEAFOODBOX WILL ISSUE A CREDIT OR REFUND ON THE PORTION OF PRODUCT THAT WAS NOT DELIVERED ADEQUATELY DUE TO THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
  • A mistake made by our shipping carrier and you purchased Route shipping protection. 
  • Lobsters are not alive upon delivery and you notify us within 4 hours of delivery of the shipment and pictures are provided. 
  • Products missing from your order with notification within 4 hours of the delivery of the shipment and pictures are provided. 

ALASKA SEAFOODBOX

 will not issue a credit or refund for the following reasons;

- ALASKA SEAFOODBOX does not guarantee Live Lobsters or Fresh Seafood, if you do not prepare them on the day of arrival.

- ALASKA SEAFOODBOX will not be held responsible for Lobsters or Mussels that die overnight, if you chose to postpone cooking them on the following day. If you store your Lobsters and/or Mussels until the following day, you are doing so at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee our Lobsters and Mussels beyond the day of delivery.

- AFB is not responsible for packages left outside for more than an hour.  Warm temperatures can cause the items to spoil. Please take precautions when scheduling a delivery or gifting and make sure to let recipient(s) know there is a perishable delivery coming their way on the date selected at checkout. 

- ALASKA FOOD BOX and FedEx are not responsible for contacting recipients prior, during or after delivery of any shipment. The purchaser(s) are responsible for advising gift recipients of the shipment(s) coming their way. 

- You need to monitor the Lobsters and Mussels. Keep in mind, if you do receive a dormant or dead lobster, we advise you to cook it as soon as you can. If you discard it prior to cooking and providing pictures, you waive your rights to a credit or refund of any kind.

- ALASKA FOOD BOX requires and asks for pictures or video of the product(s) that are in question to be e-mailed to us at info@alaskafoodbox.com, within 12 hours of receipt of package. We will not be able to honor any refunds without photographs of the product in question. We may request that the product be shipped back to us for inspection.

**If you dispose of the Lobsters, Mussels and packaging prior to notifying us of your problem, we will waive your rights for a refund of any kind.

- ALASKA SEAFOODBOX is not responsible for packages that get delayed and hindered during high-volume shipping periods (Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

- ALASKA SEAFOODBOX is not responsible for packages that get delayed and hindered because of Weather-related issues. **Route shipping protection is recommended. 

- ALASKA SEAFOODBOX is not responsible for shipments that are stolen from residence after delivering. **Route shipping protection is recommended. 

- ADDRESS CORRECTIONS: Customers are held responsible to input their correct SHIPPING ADDRESS. This includes Name, Street, City, State and Zip Code. There will be a $9 change fee charged to ship to any corrected address. ALASKA FOOD BOX will not refund or reimburse orders that were not delivered on time due to an incorrect address.
